Art 205: Digital Photography
Art 115: Basic Design

Art 205 is Louisiana Tech's introduction to Digital Photography course. It was my first time to teach a class. I spent the early part of class going on scanograms then moved into DSLR photography. I combined lectures, workdays, and field trips. The assignments were geared towards the most frequent assignments I face on commissioned jobs (having to produce portraits of those I don't know, and walking into a room of people and being able to produce candid imagery without problems).
The second half of the quarter began to focus more on the personal side of photography, with assignments such as directorial self-portraits and panoramics. Digital photography, Adobe Bridge and Photoshop, and digital printing were all focused heavily on in this class.
