Video is a merging of my photography and writing interests, with the characteristics of the medium thrown in for fun.
"Miles" is the story of a man abnormally large. It's a semi-stop motion, quasi-animated film that tells the trials, hardships, and positives to living a life so large.
"8,000 Blackcats" is that, literally. A friend and I bought 8,000 fireworks a few years back for the 4th of July and decided to roll them out and light them. We assumed it would be a 30 second firestorm, but it was far from. I documented the experience.
"Time Spent To Save" was originally written as a stage-play, but I adapted it for film. We shot this while the convenience store was open and readily attending to customers, so all of those sounds in the background were also accompanied by lots of stares off-camera.
"Gender Juxtaposed" asks the question of how gender roles are setup in society. It does this by switching out the roles typically set aside for men and women. Join in as a viewer to see what the results are. This film was shown in a psychology class a few years back and was accompanied by a stage performance of "The Three Psychologists," which is available in script format in my writing section.
