Brenton McCormick / Here we go!
All right, let's get the party officially started. Welcome to my blog. In case you don't know me (and still managed to find this page, which is a little weird on your part), my name is Brenton McCormick. I'm twenty years old, entering my third year of college (but still classified a sophomore) at Center State University. It's called Center State because our founders were not creative enough to pick some title other than the geographical location within the state. I'm assuming there wasn't even a founding father handy to name it after.
Regardless.
I'm a General Studies major, which means I'll be sufficient in almost everything, but qualified in practically nothing. But no other major gives me the diverse options of classes that this one does. But that isn't helping turn the previously mentioned ramifications of my major's importance any, so I'll move on.
This is the first time I've ever kept a blog. I used to keep a journal, before they upgraded to the new name. But I kept it hidden under my bed. So, this is a rather new experiment for me. Maybe I can eventually add it to my growing list of sufficiency's. "Um yes, can you write about yourself?" "Why yes I can... though not very good. Only a general understanding of it."
Okay, that joke didn't go over as planned.
Yes, I realize my initials are BM. I'm quite sure this wasn't intentional on my parent's behalf. I am named after my mother's uncle who died many years ago. The last name comes from my father, of course. So on their own, they are harmless. It's like a chemistry experiment, or worse, a politician with a running mate. Separately harmless, but united and dangerous.
A girl once called me a "piece of shit," but I don't think she was making an allusion to my name.
Okay, that's enough for an introduction. I can't really spill everything in the first post, or else why would anyone continue to read? I think that's the whole gimmick behind these things... to learn about the person as the days pass and post count grows.
Peace out, homies.
BM, served up fresh at your convenience
