Graduation
It seems that I'm returning to the womb again
Soon I will start over and life will just begin
High school's initiated the countdown for us all
And I think I am happy to just stand proud and tall
Adorned in strange clothes, the items for a night
The moment will be mine as I step into the spotlight
When I take my first step, it is the last one I will make
As a new life begins, full of new mistakes
And so what awaits me as I walk out the doors
My time came and went when I walked across the floor
Life as I knew it died as I shook hands
And the congratulations gave birth to my new plans
Where do I go from here, what will be my wish
For my initial goal has now been accomplished
It's a common fact that after it's been done
No one knows what to do following graduation
