At this moment, I’m sitting at a desk in Cleveland. Monday will launch a series of photography and video discussions I’ll be doing with high schools across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. This is a road trip in conjunction with Maine Media Workshops (MMW) and their Young Artist (YO) program. For over the next two weeks, I’ll be dropping into schools to speak to classes about my projects, the industry and MMW course options, and sharing YO student work from a variety of workshops I’ve been involved with.

As of right now, the schedule is…

May 4, Monday: Laurel School – Shaker Heights, OH
May 5, Tuesday: North East High School – North East, MD
May 6, Wednesday: Elkton High School – Elkton, MD
May 7, Thursday: Friends School of Baltimore – Baltimore, MD
May 8, Friday: scheduling issue – postponed
May 11, Monday: Williston Northampton School – Easthampton, MA
May 12, Tuesday: Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School – Martha’s Vineyard, MA
May 13, Wednesday: Mount Desert High School – Bar Harbor, ME
May 14, Thursday: Mt. Blue High School – Farmington, ME
May 15, Friday: Camden Hills Regional High School – Camden, ME
May 18, Monday: Fayetteville-Manlius High School – Syracuse, NY

Additional stops may be added for the trip. I arrived last night to kick things off here in Ohio. Things are just getting started! Feels great to be back on the road for a new type of tour. Hope to meet lots of awesome classes, be inspired by student projects, run into old friends along the way, and make new ones at each city and town I visit!

If you’d like to follow activities on the trip, search #mmwYOtour on social media. I’ll be posting a lot of imagery through Instagram @andy.bloxham I’d also like to experiment with Periscope in the classroom through Twitter @andybloxham

Here’s to a fun and eventful road trip!
